"The deer gift" is a short video work set in the virtual nature space of the game Grand Theft Auto V.
The video superimposes two approaches between man and animal. On the sound level, a drunken hunter explains his trained ability to attract a deer by rutting calls. "Some people say I have the deer gift," he boasts. These artificial animal sounds accompany the digital approach between a character and a doe from the computer game. Couple animations are applied to the two bodies, resulting in a relationship that is literally twisted.
