On a sunny summer day a European hare crossed the Polish country road "Białą Drogą". It was hit by a Google street view car mapping the area, which catapulted the hare into the air. The car documented the crash with its 360° camera rig and the flying hare found itself on Google Street view.
Latający zając nad białą drogą (The flying hare above Białą Drogą) is a speculative triptych of 3D renderings depicting the crash from the perspective of the hare and the Google street view car.
The images are printed as lenticular prints and mounted on angled wooden corpuses. Viewed from the left the three images depict the hare out of the car's perspective. Viewed from the right the hare's point of view is visible.
Medium: Lenticular print on wood.
Dimensions: 29,7 × 42 x 15 cm each
